Classic Plays & Poetry is designed to protect your privacy. The app operates entirely on your device and does not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share your personal information.
Information We Collect
Classic Plays & Poetry does not collect personal information or usage data.
The app does not use:
- User accounts or registration
- Developer-operated servers
- Cloud storage or synchronization
- Analytics or crash-reporting services
- Advertising networks
- Tracking technologies
- Third-party AI services
- Cookies or device fingerprinting
We cannot view your activity, reading history, notes, AI conversations, or exported documents.
Notes
Notes you create are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded or transmitted to us or any service provider.
You can edit or delete your notes within the app. Deleting the app may also delete its locally stored notes and settings, subject to any device backup settings you control.
Because we do not receive your notes, we cannot access, restore, or remotely delete them.
On-Device Artificial Intelligence
The app’s AI features use Apple Intelligence and the device’s on-device processing capabilities.
Your questions, selected passages, notes, prompts, and AI responses are processed locally on your device using Apple’s on-device language model and Neural Engine. Classic Plays & Poetry does not transmit AI content to us, an external AI provider, or a developer-operated server.
AI conversations are not used by us for advertising, profiling, analytics, or training AI models.
AI-generated responses may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete. Verify important quotations and factual information against the original text or another reliable source.
PDF Exporting and Sharing
PDF documents are created locally on your device. We do not receive or retain copies of exported PDFs.
A PDF leaves the app only when you choose to save or share it. If you share a PDF through email, Messages, AirDrop, cloud storage, or another application, that service’s privacy practices apply.
Review a PDF before sharing it to ensure that it does not contain notes or information you wish to keep private.
Internet Connectivity
Classic Plays & Poetry does not require an internet connection for its reading, note-taking, searching, PDF-exporting, or AI features.
The literary collection and AI processing are available on the device without sending your content over the internet.
Your device, operating system, App Store, or applications you voluntarily use to share exported content may independently connect to the internet. Those connections are outside our control and are governed by the applicable provider’s privacy policy.
Children’s Privacy
Because Classic Plays & Poetry does not collect or transmit personal information, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Parents, guardians, and educators should still supervise children’s use of AI features and remind them not to include sensitive personal information in notes or documents they intend to share.
Data Security and Control
Your information remains under your control on your device. You are responsible for securing your device, device account, backups, and exported documents.
We recommend using a device passcode and keeping your operating system updated.
Third-Party Literary Sources
The app may identify sources for public-domain literary works. If you independently visit a third-party website outside the app, that website’s privacy policy applies.
Changes to This Policy
If the app’s privacy practices change, this policy will be updated before or when the new practices take effect.
Any future version that introduces online services, remote AI processing, analytics, accounts, advertising, or cloud synchronization will require an updated privacy policy and any notices or consent required by applicable law.
The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised.

Since Classic Plays & Poetry does not collect or retain personal information, we generally have no user data to access, correct, export, or delete. Locally stored information can be managed directly within the app or removed by deleting the app, subject to your device’s backup settings.
