1. Who we are and what this policy covers
Good Times Companion is provided by Vasilis Bill Batsios, publishing on the App Store as Vasilis Batsios. This policy covers the Good Times Companion app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, and related support communications. It does not describe the practices of other apps listed on this website.

2. Your journals and photos
The app stores the content you create or import in its local app storage on your device. This may include journal text, experience details, dates, place names, companions, feelings, dining and drink reviews, ratings, photographs, captions, favourites and links between journals and experiences. Settings such as your preferred sorting order are also stored locally.
This information is used on your device to provide the app’s journaling, browsing, photo, export and backup features. No account is required. We do not operate a server that receives your journal library, automatically upload your stories to us, or provide automatic cloud synchronization between your devices.
3. Camera, photos and files
On iPhone and iPad, the app requests camera permission when you choose to take a photo. You can decline or revoke that permission in your device’s Settings. Photos are added to an entry only when you confirm the capture.
The app uses Apple’s system photo and file selection interfaces to import the items you select. It does not scan your entire photo library. Imported photos are copied into the app’s storage and may be resized or compressed. Removing a photo from an entry does not delete the original from your Photos library or files.
The app does not request location, contacts or microphone access. Place names and companions are details you enter yourself.
4. Sharing and exports
You decide when to create or share a memory card, PDF or backup. Memory cards use the details and photos you select. Full PDF exports include the relevant entry or journal content, including its included experiences and photos.
Sharing uses your device’s system sharing options. When you choose a recipient, another app, a social platform or a storage service, that destination receives the content you send or save. Its own privacy practices apply to that copy. Review what is included before sharing, particularly when your entries contain information about other people.
We do not publish your entries to a public feed or automatically post them to social media.
5. Backups, restoration and cloud storage
A full library backup can contain journals, experiences, stored photos, captions, reviews and entries in Recently Deleted. You choose where to save the backup and which backup to restore.
If you save an export or backup to iCloud Drive, another cloud provider, a shared folder or an external device, that copy is handled according to the location and service you choose. Your operating system’s device backup services may also include local app data, depending on your settings.
Backup files are compressed but are not password protected or encrypted by the app. Keep them in a private location. Your device or storage provider may offer its own encryption and access controls.
Restoration retains local safety copies of the previous library to support recovery. These copies may include earlier versions of entries or content later deleted from the current library.
6. Retention and deletion
Your active entries remain in local storage until you change or remove them. Deleted entries stay in Recently Deleted until you restore or permanently delete them. Deleting a journal does not delete the separate Good Times that it contains.
Permanent deletion removes the entry from the current app library. It does not remove that entry from earlier exports, backups, restore safety copies, operating-system backups or copies already shared with other people or services.
To remove all copies, you must also manage those additional locations. Removing the app’s local data requires the steps appropriate to your operating system; offloading an iPhone or iPad app preserves its data, and removing a Mac app may leave its support files behind. Contact us if you need guidance on removing remaining local app data. We cannot remotely access, recover or erase the journal library stored on your devices.
7. Advertising, tracking and Apple services
The app does not include advertising, third-party analytics SDKs or cross-app tracking. We do not sell or rent your journal content.
Apple handles App Store distribution and any App Store purchase. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide us with store performance information and diagnostic or usage reports, subject to the report type and your applicable privacy choices. We may use this information to understand app performance and fix problems. The app does not deliberately include journal text or photos in diagnostic reports.
Apple’s services are governed by Apple’s privacy policy: Apple Privacy Policy
8. When you contact support
If you email peaksoftware93@gmail.com, we receive your email address, your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, investigate the issue and maintain necessary support records. You do not need to send your journal library to request help.
Support email is handled through Google/Gmail and may be processed in countries where the email provider operates. Google’s privacy policy is available at Google Privacy Policy
We retain support correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to resolve and follow up on your request and meet applicable legal obligations. You may contact us to request access, correction or deletion of that correspondence. We may retain information when necessary to meet legal requirements or resolve an ongoing dispute. We do not use support correspondence for advertising.
9. Children
Good Times Companion is not directed to children. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the app. If you believe a child has sent personal information to our support address, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or our practices. We will publish the revised policy with an updated effective date and provide any additional notice or obtain any consent required for changes to how we handle personal information.
